Found out from VST this week that they are no longer servicing the deeps. Definitely not good news. There had been a place in New Jersey named TSI that used to service them, but they also no longer do.

Guess we're really on our own now! Fortunately for me, I have a 2nd working deeps as a backup.

That's too bad! I suspect some of them will continue to run for a while, but I imagine that getting parts will start becoming an issue.

Best of luck to all who are still using them!

Well....I guess it was inevitable. For parts it may come down to all of us and e bay maybe. Glad mine still operates okay.

Thanks for letting us know.

Does anyone know if there was ever a service manual available anywhere? Would be nice to have if you ever wanted to see about getting someone local to look at the unit.

Well, really, that just means that places that were well-versed in the machine are no longer servicing it. Inside, the machine is electronic and (older) digital tech...nothing more. A good technician would probably be able to handle a good number of issues, simply because this is what they do. It's certainly not a good thing that those with specific experience with the DPS24 are no longer servicing it, but it's NOT like you're on your own.

If you're UK side there is a guy on Facebook - JazzCat - who does repairs from Portsmouth area. He seems to do mostly MPC's but he said he'd look at my DPS when I contacted him - seems to have a very good reputation.
